1. Meera Rewards Programme and Enrolment

The Al Meera loyalty program, Meera Rewards, is a rewards program to say thank you for being a valued customer of Al Meera. By joining free of charge, you can earn and redeem Meera Rewards Points at all Al Meera stores in Qatar.

Joining the Meera Rewards program is simple and free. Just download the Meera Rewards Mobile app from google play or the app store and select “Register Now” where you will be prompted to input your personal details and create a password. A digital membership ID will be generated in the mobile app for you to use in store to display to the cashier when you would like to earn and redeem Meera Reward Points.

2. Meera Rewards Membership

As an employee of Al Meera, its subsidiaries, you are eligible to join Meera Rewards and benefit from earning and redeeming Meera Rewards Points.

If you wish to pool your Meera Rewards Points with another member’s account, you can request this by clicking on the “My Account” section after logging into your account on the website or click on household section after logging in to the mobile app and entering the membership number of the member that you would like to add your account to. All past and present Meera Rewards Points earned will be pooled to this member’s account and you will no longer be eligible to make a redemption from your Meera Rewards account. Only the household account you have pooled with can redeem Meera Rewards Points. You will still be able to earn points but they will be added to the account of head of household.

After pooling yourself to another member’s account and you later decide that you no longer wish to household your account to another member. You can remove yourself from the head of household’s account by clicking on the “My Account” section after logging into your account on the website

You will continue to earn points on your membership as usual but you will not be able to join another household account for 6 months.

If you are the Head of Household, and you decide to remove another member’s account, you can do so by clicking on the “My Account” section after logging into your account on the website

Yes. There is a maximum of 6 accounts you can have pooled under your account.

Yes. If you wish to cancel your existing membership of Meera Rewards, you will need to provide a written notification of cancellation through our website or through the application by clicking on the Contact us and selecting general information. Upon receipt, Meera Rewards Call Center will terminate the membership by deducting all Meera Rewards Points from your account. Members will not be able to avail of any service benefits offered by Meera Rewards thereafter.

3. Earning Meera Rewards Points

Meera Rewards Points can be earned by providing your mobile digital membership ID found on Meera Rewards App - to the cashier before you complete your purchase(s) at check-out.

Meera Rewards Points are calculated based on your eligible spend at Al Meera stores in Qatar. You will earn Meera rewards points based on all your spend on almost all products during promotional periods. These periods and details of promotions will be announced on the app, social media channels and the website.

Al Meera Rewards Bonus Points are promotional Points issued during promotions and are added on top of your regular Meera Rewards Points earned for eligible purchase(s). Promotional Terms and Conditions will apply.

You can earn Meera Rewards Points on all eligible goods and services at Al Meera and Géant stores in Qatar regardless of your payment method, except for payment using Meera Points (i.e. If you pay for your purchases in full using Meera Rewards Points, or in part with Meera Rewards Points and in part with cash,) except on any of the following transactions:

  • Purchase of Gift Cards / Vouchers.
  • Donations to Charities through Al Meera & Géant stores.
  • Any tipping of Staff members.
  • Vodafone & Ooredoo Top-Up Cards or Vouchers.
  • Money vouchers, gift vouchers or Ramadan vouchers.
  • Whole sale or credit sales

Yes. Your Meera Rewards Points are valid for a period of 12 months from the date they are earned. Points will expire on the 1st day of the 13th month. This means that if you earn your Meera Rewards Points on Dec 15, 2018, they will expire Jan 1, 2020.

4. Redeeming Meera Rewards Points

You can redeem your Meera Rewards Points against any eligible purchases at Al Meera stores in Qatar.

Meera Rewards Points can be redeemed in multiples of QAR30. Once you have earned a minimum of 3,000 Meera Points(QAR30) you can make a redemption. This means you will need to collect 3,000 Meera Points to redeem for QAR30, 6,000 for QAR 60, 9,000 for QAR 90 etc.

Yes, you may redeem your Meera Points for a value that is higher than your purchase amount. However, the difference will not be returned back to you.

No. Al Meera does not allow for purchase or transfer of Meera Rewards Points at this time. Redemptions can only be done from one single member account

Once you have accumulated the minimum amount of Meera Rewards Points to make a redemption, redeeming is easy. At check-out before completing and paying for your purchase, you can inform the cashier that you want to redeem your Meera Rewards Points to pay for your purchase(s).

You have the option to:

  • Redeem all your Meera Rewards Points to pay for your eligible spend purchase(s) at all Al Meera stores in Qatar.
  • Pay for your purchase(s) with part Al Meera Rewards Points and part cash / card.
  • You will need to provide the cashier with your digital card on your mobile app and your Qatari ID.

Yes. Providing you have at least 3,000 Meera Rewards Points in your account, you can choose to use part of your Meera Rewards Points along with cash / card(s) payment for the balance of the invoice. You will not earn points on the remaining portion of your purchase paid for by cash, debit or credit.

6. Meera Rewards Website, Mobile App and My Account Details

Your membership details are the 16 digit membership ID and password that you set up at the time of Registration. This will also act as your username to log into or download the mobile app. You can also use your email address and mobile number used at the time of registration to log into your account on the website and mobile app.

To update your personal details, please log into your account on almeeraloyalty.com and through the app by clicking on “Edit Account Settings”.

An email will be sent to the account’s registered email address with instructions on how to reset your password and regain access to your account. You can also reset your password from the mobile app and after verification of your mobile number you will be able to proceed with resetting your password.
